A Letter of Intent signed on Thursday between the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Beijing Baidu Netcom Science Technology in Bangkok that aims to strengthen Thailand's tourism appeal among Chinese travelers.

Digital travel platform Agoda has revealed a 137% year-over-year increase in international accommodation searches from China for the upcoming Golden Week. China's second Golden Week of the year takes place from October 1 to 7.
